SBA News Release
October 21, 2009, President Obama spoke to the nation in support of legislation that would increase the maximum loan amount in the 7(a) Program from the current maximum of $2.0 million to $5.0 million. Also included is increasing the amount of guaranty dollars allowed by one applicant.
In addition to the pending legislation, the SBA is looking to increase the current size standards for industries across the board.
